How to become a member of the FellowshipFellowshipAnyone who supports the re-awakening or revival, and preservation of the indigenous culture and religion of the Nordic tribes, is welcomed to join the society as a voting member. 1. Read the Constitution through, as well as the Bylaws. If you have any questions about the laws of the Fellowship, contact one of the Trustees. 2. Simply download the application form and mail it in to the address provided:
3. You will be notified when your application is approved, and sent a copy of the constitution and bylaws, as well as a printed copy of the Folk's Oath.
4. You are now member of the Folk House and may vote for representation among the Aldermen and for the lawspeaker, one of three trustees. StewardshipIf you also have some special area of expertise that you would like to share with others, you may want to join the Fridhgard Stewards, who are the society's college of experts, teachers and educators. Stewards elect the executive council called the Witan, as well as the thul, one of three trustees. WeobondIf you are certain of your religious devotion to the gods and ancestors, and wish to swear an oath of troth, or are already an oath-sworn Heathen or priest or priestess, you may want to also join the Weobond, which is the school for the devout. Weobondsmen elect the Aethlings, and are eligible to become Ring-givers, authorized priests and priestesses of the Fellowship, who elect the freyr, one of three trustees. |
